NOTE  from William Ting

This year, Split Rock Resort raised the fees for accommodations at their hotel to a level I believe would result in  financial hardship to many of the students historically attending my seminar.  A new general manager at the resort decided that, in light of the new construction and expansions going on at Split Rock, our previous group rate was insufficient,.  Unfortunately, while we have always enjoyed our stays with the Resort, the contract presented to us would have engendered a minimum 80% increase in rooming costs alone.   I could not agree to this for my students.

I will be offering this 25th semi-annual workshop as I would at Split Rock, at my studio in Rancocas Woods.  While a bit smaller than our normal accommodations in the Poconos, I will be offering the same detailed instruction and presentation as I have for all these years.  I will provide those seeking accommodations a list of hotels and restaurants in the area with a variety of prices to suit every student's budget.

I hope that  my decision to forgo the accommodations at Split Rock will not impact your decision to attend this fall's seminar.  I thank you for your patience and understanding.

Silver Tiger Tai Chi

T'ai Chi Ch'uan is a soft, internal Chinese martial art consisting of slow, flowing, meditative movements. Although T'ai Chi is an excellent form of self defense, most people practice it for the health benefits.

T'ai Chi improves the quality of life, maintains physical health, increases a person's mental awareness and enhances spiritual serenity. By teaching awareness of their own internal energy, the student learns to assimilate unity, harmony and coordination in movement as well as daily life. There are no age limitations to participation and no special equipment is needed, just loose clothing and soft shoes.

Here is a sample our video for the first section of the form.  You can see the whole video on-line or purchase it in the store.

The ultimate benefit of T'ai Chi is to experience life in a healthy and fully aware state of being.
